ULSF Sponsored Events

ULS Foundation Golden Gala is a fundraising event that benefits Academics, Arts and Athletics.

The Golden Gala is held each April at L’Auberge. Guests will be welcomed with special entertainment, signature cocktails, and a preview hour that includes mingling, prizes, music, photos, and a firsthand look at auction items and packages. A gourmet dinner will be served during the first half of the evening, culminating with a Live Auction. Mobile bidding on silent auction items will be available throughout the night. Join us for dancing, celebration, late night passes, and a handful of surprises. Always a true EXPERIENCE!  For information regarding sponsorships, table reservations or donating an auction item, please contact ulsfoundation@lsu.edu.

The annual Gerald Furr Memorial Golf Classic, hosted by the University Laboratory School Foundation, is held in memory of retired ULS basketball Coach Gerald Furr and benefits U-High Athletics.

Funds raised have been used to purchase items such as the new scoreboard at the Cub Complex, an athletic training trailer, equipment for boys' and girls' Golf, travel for the Swimming and Cross Country teams, new uniforms for boys' and girls' Soccer, boys' Basketball equipment and weight room renovations

Grandparents' and Grandfriends' Day is an annual event hosted by the University Laboratory School Foundation. Grandparents of K-5th students are invited to visit their grandchildren in their school setting, enjoy singing and dancing performances by each grade level and meet faculty and administration.

University Laboratory School alumni are part of a long standing tradition of excellence. For some of you, the school is much the same as it was when you were a student here. For those of you who visit after some time away, signs of continuous progression will be quite evident. However, for all, the memories of time well spent in these hallways will always remain.

We encourage our alumni to stay connected through reunions, tours and special events. Continue to share in your alma mater's long and rich history, not to mention your Cub pride and school spirit. Make plans to attend a game or an event and/or gather your classmates and host a reunion.

The University Laboratory School Foundation takes an active role in the Cub community by hosting personal and group tours and communicating through the Cub Roar.
