University Laboratory School tuition for all grades for the 2024-2025 school year is $5,881.
Tuition is the same for all grades. There are no cost reductions for multiple children enrolled or for students of LSU employees.

Under the Minimum Foundation Program (MFP), the Louisiana legislature annually adopts a formula to equitably allocate funding for education to school districts as a block grant. University Laboratory School receives an allocation per enrolled student as part of this annual state funding mechanism in addition to the $5,881 per student in tuition.

Lunch Fee per child (optional):

  • K-5th Grade: $615
  • 6-12th Grade: $670

Parking (for licensed high school drivers): $182

ULS is committed to ensuring that financial circumstances do not limit access to the outstanding education we provide. Families of admitted students are eligible to apply for support from the Tuition Assistance Fund through a third party, the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment website. Tuition assistance, provided by ULS donors, is limited and is awarded to qualified students based on household income. Recipients must re-apply each year.  Inquiries may be sent to the Admissions Office at ulsadmissions@lsu.edu.
