Biography
After graduating from the LSU E.J. Ourso College of Business, Rob served as a grant accountant for the National Center for Biomedical Research and Counter-Terrorist (NCBRT), under the LSU Office of Research & Economical Development, a $22 million US Department of Homeland Security-funded program on LSU campus. In 2012, he joined the newly formed LSU Online department under the Office of Academic Affairs, as it’s Business Operations Manager. There he helped lay the foundational framework for what has grown to become a robust suite of online offerings and multi-million-dollar revenue source for the university.
Rob currently serves as the Senior Assistant Dean for Administration in the College of Human Sciences & Education, which oversees five degree-granting academic departments, four Centers & Institutes, and the Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool and University Laboratory School. In his role, he is responsible for providing administrative, analytical, and strategic support to facilitate the effective and efficient functioning of the college in the key areas of administration, finance, and human resources. As such he oversees the financial and administrative planning, budget development and implementation, policy formulation and organizational development, and deployment of resources to ensure operations and administrative systems are in place to foster the growth, efficiency, and financial strength of the college.
In addition to Rob’s sixteen years as an employee of LSU, he is no stranger to the University Laboratory School. He is a proud alum, having attended all 13 years as a U-High Cub, and his family has been a part of the Cub family for decades.
