LASC District III Rally

By Natalie Zito, ULS Senior

LASCAs District III President for the Louisiana Association of Student Councils, I had the honor of hosting this year’s District Workshop at U-High. The evening was packed with leadership activities, including small group sessions, collaborative projects with students from across the district, and inspiring guest speakers. My goal in planning this event was to ensure that every student not only learned something valuable but also had a memorable experience.

With nine schools in attendance, students had the chance to meet new people and participate in what I called “A Trip through Leadership.” Each student council group joined a small team to prepare a skit, and at the end of the night, these groups performed their skits for everyone. This activity highlighted how effective teamwork can help us achieve a shared goal.
LASC District III Rally 2024 was an unforgettable experience, one that brought people together and strengthened our collective leadership skills. I am incredibly grateful for the chance to showcase U-High to District III and to demonstrate the meaningful impact leadership can have, even in the smallest moments.
