ULS eighth graders have the opportunity to participate in a two-week exchange with eighth graders at the Metropolitan School of Panama. Participants host a MET student for two weeks in October and then travel to Panama City, Panama, for two weeks in late February.

ULS high school students have the opportunity to participate in a two-week exchange with Colegio Concepcion School in Chile. Chile exchange students join host ULS families in mid-January, and ULS high school participants travel to Chile in June.

ULS students may be a part of an exchange program to Romania May 21st-June 1st, 2018. Students travel to Bucharest, Brasov, and Transylvania in Eastern Europe and then host a Romanian student for 11 days during October 2018 or March 2019. University Laboratory School is excited to offer a new international learning experience to high school students, current 8th-11th graders. During spring break 2019, we will take a group of 25 students to the Dominican Republic to participate in a service learning project in a small community in the Central Mountain Region. We are thrilled to use our time to serve others and show the world that Cubs care! This service learning experience offers cultural immersion, 25 hours of service work, leadership development activities, a day exploring the National Marine Park, and other exciting activities.

The class of 2019 is invited to travel to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji the week after graduation. During the 12-day adventure, travelers will experience the dramatic features of Northern New Zealand; explore beautiful Sydney Australia- from the iconic Opera House to a harbor cruise, and then end the trip in a true tropical paradise—the islands of Fiji. The class of 2020 is invited to travel to "Europe's Mediterranean Coast" and experience four countries on this tour of southern Europe. The will take place the week after graduation in May 2020. During the nine day trip, travelers will discover old world Italian charm of Cinque Terre, learn how the French Riviera became the place to be for generations of rich and famous, and see how the see how Antoni Gaudí’s surreal architecture has turned the city of Barcelona into one big gallery.
