Cubs Annual Alumni Recognition
Four distinguished Louisiana State University Laboratory School (University High) alumni will be honored at the University Laboratory School Foundation’s twelth annual alumni recognition event, CUBS 2011 on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at The Faculty Club. The event will be celebrating the lives of Ben Miller ‘55 and Rolfe McCollister ‘73 that will be inducted into the Alumni Hall of Distinction. The celebration will also honor Jim Bollinger ’63 and Dr. Del Walker ‘67, as they will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame.
The event will include a cocktail and hors d’oeurves reception, followed by an induction ceremony, award presentation, and acceptance speeches by the honorees. Fellow alumni Keith Armstrong, ‘83, will be the emcee for the event . Please take the time to enjoy our event photo gallery.
Hall of Fame
The Athletic Hall of Fame is established to pay tribute to
University High’s athletic greats and to those people who have contributed
to the improvement and development of the school’s athletic program.
Hall of Distinction
The Alumni Hall of Distinction is established to honor graduates who have taken the fundamental principles of excellence they learned and lived at University High and carried these gifts into their adult lives, excelling at their professions and improving their communities.
