"U"-Club Membership

The "U"-Club was established to carry on the University High School's
tradition of athletic excellence. The U-High Athletic Department is
committed to securing support for its athletic programs and enriching the
experience of student-athletes. The "U"-Club provides the extra support
needed to enhance the University High School Athletics. The Club funds
spirit activities for students and provides special financial support for
the 350 athletes participating in varsity and middle school sports.
This allows coaches to purchase needed items, which would fall outside the
normal operating budget. Most importantly, the club represents the
alliance between parents, administrators, coaches, and friends of U-High in
supporting the U-High Athletic Department. Though the University
Laboratory School Foundation will
facilitate the "U"-Club Membership Drive, all funds collected through this
program are dedicated exclusively to athletic
programs. Foundation
Development Funds, including but not limited to those raised through the
Annual Appeal, impact all students (a complete list of items/programs funded
through the Annual Appeal is available by contacting the Development Office)
with a much broader range of responsibility including the arts, academics,
and physical education. The Annual Appeal kicks off in September each
year.
Funding for the Cubs athletic program comes completely through gate
receipts, concession sales, and the generous support of the Lab School
community and friends of the school. Support of athletics at U-High is
truly a worthy endeavor and will touch literally hundreds of lives each
year. Please help support our tradition of excellence and give
generously. Go Cubs! For More Information:
