Academics

University Laboratory School (K-12), has been designated by the state as a School of Academic Distinction.  The faculty and staff are dedicated, knowledgeable, and caring educators who work tirelessly to provide an outstanding educational program. Many of our instructors present workshops on innovative teaching techniques at state and national workshops and conventions. Our instructors, many of whom are nationally board certified, are recognized by the Louisiana Department of Education as “highly qualified” and hold masters degrees in their respective areas of study or disciplines.
